One-minute Clip: Supreme Court Nominee Could Not Say If Government Has Power to Dictate What We Must Eat

A couple of weeks ago, FDA declared that Americans do not have an inherent right to choose the food they wish to eat. Today, we have a Supreme Court nominee who could not say whether the government has the power to tell us what to eat.

  1. First, we need to do away with the FDA. Let the state governments handle any type of food inspections. Second, we need to go back to having juries decide Supreme Court cases (yes, it was done in the past), instead of judges only. Then, liberal, conservative makes no difference in the judge.

  2. Ditto re: FDA – OR educate the public on how severely limiting the Fundamental Law is in regards to Federal jurisdiction. That would require having the equivalent of fifth grade civics according to what was taught in the mid-1800’s! So much for the FDA. Let the State decide about what they are authorized for.
