Roundup Linked to Infertility, Spontaneous Abortions and Other Animal Health Problems

The U.S. leads the world with more than 165 million acres of GMO crops, mostly Roundup Ready® crops around which are sprayed with 200 million pounds of Roundup. Monsanto owns patents on the genes of more than 93% of soybeans, 80% of corn, and 95% of sugar beets planted in the U.S., according to Food for Democracy Now. The combination of the herbicide and the genetically modified seeds and crops  attracts pests, creates superweeds and  resistant crop diseases that worsen each year. Cows, chickens and pigs fed these crops are getting strange diseases. These factors are affecting the entire food chain and human health. Indeed, truth is stranger than fiction. Tonight, we have an startling article by Laurie Neverman from Common Sense Homesteading written especially for the Journal that covers this topic well.–Augie

Roundup Linked to Infertility, Spontaneous Abortions and Other Health Problems

by Laurie Neverman

We have been told since its introduction in 1973 that the pesticide Roundup is a safe and effective way to control weeds.  With the introduction of Roundup Ready soybeans in 1996, and Roundup Ready Corn in 1998, Roundup use soared.  According to The New York Times, in 2010, Roundup Ready crops accounted for about 90% of the soybeans and 70 percent of the corn and cotton grown in the United States.

Now, we are finding that Roundup is anything but safe.  GMOs have been linked to organ disruption: Continue reading

Swine Swindle Flu

by David Michael

As previously estimated, about 3500 pre-born babies have died following last year’s swine swindle flu vaccinations of pregnant women in the U.S. alone. Those surviving, I am estimating more than 35,000 have been seriously injured– some with lifelong disabilities including neurological and autism–and as many as 100,000 with milder disorders. (These are my SWAGs–scientific wild-ass estimates. When someone dies from vaccine, or is severally injured–it is a sound and logical extension that far more are impacted– just as in auto crashes). Soon, the Journal will release a new studies–showing the the Aluminum in the jabs are much more dangerous than the Mercury– partly because of synergistic reactions with Fluoride in city water (and its aluminum), increasing the toxicity. This will be presented by David Michael and Dr. Sylvia Onusik; it will include an audio interview with Dr. David Ayoub with Dr. Mercola and Michael’s interview with Dr. Ayoub on the Aluminum toxicity–including effects when directly injected and from breast breast cancer linked aluminum-ized underarm deodorants. Drug-Free Milk Label Now Allowed in Ohio

For the last couple years in Ohio, it was illegal to label milk as being free of the genetically engineered growth hormone drug rbGH– like companies are now saying HFCS-Free! The pharmaceutical and dairy cartels, in concert with their partners inside Ohio government– did not wish their product to be thought of as dangerous to your health, as it is known to be in Europe. –Augie

Today, Jeffrey Smith, author of Seeds of Deception, made his remarks at the Huffington Post:

ATTENTION SHOPPERS. An appeals court just upheld your right to easily choose drug-free milk from drug-free cows. This is a victory.

rbGH is banned in most other countries and banished from most US dairies, it still lurks behind friendly “All Natural” labels of companies like Breyers Ice Cream.

. . . I propose that dairies use a different disclaimer than that now required by Ohio law. Here’s what I propose:

Ohio governor Strickland and other politicians who cater more to the interests of biotech companies than consumers, require that we state, ‘According to the FDA, there is no significant difference between the milk from cows injected with rbST compared to those not injected.’

Genetic Engineering: The World’s Greatest Scam?

There are so darn many slick scams out there it is hard to say which one is the world’s greatest. Vaccinations, water fluoridation, man-made climate change and ozone depletion, federal reserve and public education come to mind to name a few. There are so many one might think there is some sort of contest going on.

My post on Superbugs in Factory-farmed Meats yesterday featured a farmer in Frankenstein, Missouri. The story did not cover the genetically modified organisms (GMOs) fed to the animals. This leads us to the seed monopoly and omnipresent frankenfoods featured in today’s thriller video: Genetic Engineering: The World’s Greatest Scam?

DISCLAIMER: I have never been a particular fan of GreenPeace for some of their extreme environmentalism, but their educational efforts with this high-quality video on GMOs should be commended.

Bad Seed: Gov’t/Corporate Takeover of U.S. Food Supply?

3-32--The Parable of the Sower and the Mustard Seed

GMOs: More Than Just the Health Effects

With a little reading and a little common sense, one might think the U.S. food supply, from seed to table, is being rapidly taken over by the Corporate/Government partnership. If true, it is yet another brilliantly sinister and silent scheme going unnoticed by consumers. The story is worth checking out. It could be that our seeds and their produce are contaminated from being handled by dirty hands.  This idea escapes the most educated, being riddled with advanced scientific jargon and the usual spin.

What is stirring up the mustard? It is about genetically engineered (GE) or genetically modified (GM foods) seeds, plants and produce. These fall under the all new and widely available plant and animal species called genetically modified organisms (GMOs). Questions concerning the health effects of GM food are beyond the scope of this article.

I suspect the creators of these mutant strains and seeds believe their life forms and offspring will be better than those made in the garden of Eden. This includes those folks who are innoculating day-old chicks and even eggs with GMO antiviruses– the human DNA varieties and brands could be at a store near you soon– as if they could lead us to everlasting life and health.

After reading a brilliant article by Linn Cohen-Cole on the history, politics and money behind the pasteurization of all milk, I was quite delighted she  wanted to talk with me the other night on the telephone.

Linn told me about Steve Hixon, down in central Illinois– near my old stomping grounds and the home of the world-famous White Squirrel. His business was recently raided by over 20 law enforcers in an investigation concerning genetically modified seeds (its in the public records). Fingers point to a set up by Monsanto over in St. Louis, according to the story.

Hixon is (or was) a very successful seed cleaner– he takes the chaff and dirt out of seeds after harvest or when he picks up the mess when trucks overturn and spills corn or beans all over the road. The alleged crime? Some form of patent infringement: he was suspected that he might not have proof that the seeds he cleans were genetically modified seeds or not. (Then, how could he?– he doesn’t have the million dollar instrument to tell.) He is awaiting charges. Continue reading
