As the reality of vaccine-induced brain damage, including autism, becomes more obvious to the general public, our public health officials and their partners in health care will be screaming all the more loud that vaccines are safe and effective. After all, the system cannot allow the “internet misinformation” to increase the percent of those saying no to vaccinations. And, of course, I am sure doctors are getting tired of dealing with parents well educated on vaccination safety, effectiveness and need– risking the loss of profit from a full series of shots.
An article by Judy Converse, MPH RD LD (her blog is Nutrition Care For Children) is so good– does a very good job on what I half attempted the other day on the latest news and revelations– so I could not resist introducing it here.
The article, released on Tuesday, May 10, is a first-of-its-kind investigation, providing critical information for legislators and staff on the Congressionally-created Vaccine Injury Compensation Program (VICP). The report identifies more than 80 individuals who were compensated for vaccine injuries through the VICP who also have documented autism as one of their vaccine-injuries. The government has been saying for decades that these people do not exist.
There is every indication autism rates will continue to increase for two main reasons (just to start) in my opinion: eating more industrially altered food by an increasingly unhealthy U.S. population and increasing number of vaccinations–the highest in the world.
BREAKING Fox News Exclusive: Government paid multi-million dollar settlements to dozens of families whose kids suffered brain damage. See video and stay tuned to Fox tomorrow when the details will be revealed.
Also in the news today, a report on a South Korean study says an estimated one in 38 South Korean children — or 2.6 percent — has an autism spectrum disorder, a new study says — figures that experts believe could be similar in the United States. Estimates of autism prevalence in the United States generally currently put the number at about 1 in 110 children, or less than 1 percent.

Vaccine Epidemic-How Corporate Greed, Biased Science, and Coercive Government Threaten our Human Rights, Our Health, and our Children
Edited by Louise Kuo Habakus, M.A. (Director, Center for Personal Rights) and
Mary Holland, J.D. (Research Scholar, NYU School of Law)
Skyhorse Publishing, 2011
As it is with most things—more is not always better. It has taken over 15 years of independent world-wide research by extremely concerned parents, doctors, scientists and lawyers to build an undeniable momentum commanding that the protective rubber stamp of approval on vaccine development, safety, mandates and policies be addressed. A book of acute gravity, Vaccine Epidemic, presents an urgent dialogue about the vaccine controversy. The opening dedication—To all who are asking the questions and all who are demanding the answers—summarizes widening public consciousness and mainstream concern regarding vaccine safety.
Through the voices of experts in ethics, law, science, medicine, business, and history, the book requires thoughtful attention and action. An exponential rise in children who are suffering serious vaccine damage will not be ignored, nor will the lack of appropriate medical and governmental action to thwart this trend. Vaccine Epidemic advocates an honest and thorough assessment of vaccination policy and vaccine safety.
Habakus and Holland examine these issues:
The human right to vaccination choice
The ethics and constitutionality of vaccination mandates
Personal narratives of parents, children and soldiers who have suffered vaccine injury
Vaccine safety science and evidence-based medicine
Corrupting conflicts of interest in the national vaccine program
What should parents do? A review of eight advice books on vaccines that span the gamut
We heard two years ago this researcher was missing along with two million dollars of CDC funding. Now he is up for fraud and more. The question also is how the data may have been manipulated– we will see if the charges will stick. — Augie

ATLANTA, April 14, 2011 /PRNewswire via COMTEX/ — SafeMinds demands long-overdue independent review of vaccine/autism research for data manipulation and conflicts of interest. Vaccine safety remains questionable.
Poul Thorsen, the principal coordinator of multiple studies funded by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) used to deny a vaccine/autism link was indicted on April 13th on 13 counts of fraud and 9 counts of money-laundering. The charges relate to funding for work he conducted for the CDC, which claimed to disprove associations between the mercury-based vaccine preservative, thimerosal, and increased rates of autism.
SafeMinds first voiced concerns in 2003 regarding a series of epidemiology studies out of Denmark and under the jurisdiction of Thorsen that provided the basis for the Institute of Medicine’s claim that there was no association between thimerosal and autism. That claim has been responsible for the continued unsafe use of mercury in influenza vaccines in the United States and infant vaccines around the world.
“The quality of this epidemiological research has always been questionable,” states Sallie Bernard, SafeMinds president. “Many biological studies support a link between mercury and autism, but these Danish studies have been used to suppress further research into thimerosal. With clear evidence of Dr. Thorsen’s lack of ethics, it is imperative to reopen this investigation.” From August to October of 2003, three articles on the autism-mercury controversy were published in close succession, all of which used data from a Danish registry for psychiatric research to assess the relationship between autism trends and the use of thimerosal. SafeMinds accessed the registry at the time and reported that a large percentage of diagnosed autism cases are lost from the Danish registry each year and that most of those lost cases were older children.
Since the studies were based on finding fewer older thimerosal-exposed children than younger unexposed children, the validity of their conclusion exonerating thimerosal in autism was questionable and likely a result of missing records rather than true lower incidence rates among the exposed group.
In addition, internal emails obtained via FOIA document discussion between the Danish researchers and Thornsen which acknowledge that the studies did not include the latest data from 2001 where the incidence and prevalence of autism was declining which would be supportive of a vaccine connection.
The emails also include requests from Thornsen to CDC asking that the agency write letters to the journal Pediatrics encouraging them to publish the research after it had been rejected by other journals.
A top CDC official complied with the request sending a letter to the editor of the journal supporting the publication of the study which they called a “strong piece of evidence that thimerosal is not linked to autism.” As fraud charges regarding Thorsen surface, and as we believe the registry was unreliable, SafeMinds is calling for an independent federal investigation of these studies for data manipulation and scientific misconduct. Further background information on these studies, the charges against Dr. Thorsen, and documents obtained through the Freedom of Information Act that support SafeMinds’ concerns are available on our website, http://www.safeminds.org.
I have also selected a related video that implies there is much more to uncover– you know, with the money and relationships, even at high levels, when it comes to vaccine safety in relation to neurological disorders.
This is a beautifully written piece on the destruction ethyl mercury in vaccines, more toxic than elemental mercury, have wrought on the children of America–and now many adults. The Age of Autism: Mercury, Medicine and a Man-Made Epidemic

The Age of Autism is perhaps the most important new book written about the roots of a catastrophic health pandemic affecting our children. While science has sought to find the “germ” or the “genetic link” to illnesses, Olmstead and Blaxill advise that this approach is antiquated and inaccurate when considering autism and possibly many more illnesses. They detail the beginnings of autism as a consequence of environmental toxins. “Perhaps because of the less determinate nature of environmental toxins, when comparing germs and toxins, there is more than just a difference in the accepted standard of causation. Whenever germs are discovered to be an essential part of the disease process, we typically attribute causation solely to the germ. We generally accept that that the measles virus “causes” SSPE and the poliovirus “causes” paralysis even though we don’t know why the condition turns pathogenic in some cases and not others. By contrast, in the case of conditions where environmental exposure is identified as a cause of a disease, instead of linking the exposure with the disease, the most frequent response is to remove the disease label from the case.” Autism is screaming to be understood. We cannot fathom the repercussions of increasing percentages of autism in our children…What will happen to these children? We have no time to waste in finding real solutions. Continue reading →

In the wake of a massive and coordinated attack by the government/media partnership this week, Dr. Wakefield tells his response to the story in this brief news release. This is a wake-up call to the CDC, public health officials and the medical megaplex, that more and more parents are saying No to vaccinations as pro-vaccine educators and health practitioners speak out. Odd that a 12-year old paper that suggests a link to autism is pulled out at this time–and cause such a great stir. And guess what happened to me near my cubical stall at the health department this week– more on this at the bottom.–Augie

Join up with the ARMi in your state– also free– and post your farm food freedom stuff there, or stuff related to the focal point, real milk.
Help Annie and I make our system more efficient and effective, saving us time so we can keep developing it even faster. THANKS !!!
We converted to the MailChimp service to have better control of 1500 subscribers and to eliminate duplicate emails of Alerts and Posts (triplicate, in some cases). It is more problematic for those 10,000 estimated to be in the ARMi system not getting Alerts in their emails via Facebook messaging or getting to many duplicates.
December 12 marked our second anniversary of the Journal. I cannot tell you the great joy I have had providing my readers with information on real farm and real food– some my original articles and some by contributors. Having an outlet of expression has helped me immensely also.
Christmas Day marks the first anniversary of the ARMi with the opening of the Wisconsin Alliance for Raw Milk on Facebook and within a day I think we had over 500 members. Then Anji Sandage and I added ARMi units for all 50 states. Today, we probably have 10,000 fans all together, with another 14,000 in the Raw Milk Facebook site. (It sounds like a strong ARMi, but the response rate is not that good) The average state is about 200 fans with a high of 1600 in WI and the International site. Most need an Officer or two to keep the action up on the front, pages that is. Unlike the real Army, ARMi is fun and easy. Join up with your state ARMi when you take the short survey!
The Journal has now clocked 280,000 page views in the 2 years with some days as low as 200 with highs over 800—with 2700 being the highest day yet. They come mainly from the US, Canada, UK and Australia but readers have come from all countries in the world except inner Africa. Thank you to all readers that have left comments.
The most successful venture (and the most fun and rewarding) is the launch of Living Food paper bulletins. I get to visit and learn about our sponsors all over Ohio and asking for their support of the bulletin by advertising. We also have at least 30 distributors also–mainly in the Canton Ohio area.
In the past two months we have put up an iShop (an online store) for health and nutrition eBooks and more! I am turning more of my attention to recovery and prevention of autism/neurological disorders, but I will be posting other topics such as food freedom and regulatory actions, and of course vaccination awareness.
From time to time, I will post some recipes and other hard-hitting, and unique commentary on the real food moovement, too. I will also write about new products and books and generate some revenues to help sustain our operations! I thank everyone who have purchased something already– before the grand opening.
